the hotel is situated in vibrant carouge, just a short stroll from charming spots like little nemo, and you're also close to the picturesque parc des bastions, making it an ideal spot for weekend explorers like me.

My experience at Auberge Communale de Carouge was incredibly frustrating. Upon arrival, I discovered that the hotel was overbooked despite my confirmed reservation, leaving me to find last-minute accommodations on my own. The reception staff were unhelpful and dismissive. there was no assistance offered for the inconvenience, which added to my dissatisfaction.

The tram ticket made getting around easy, and I loved the lovely local markets nearby. The free breakfast with freshly made coffee was a highlight, yet the tram noise was sometimes disruptive at night.
